To kick off the 2025 season, Hardin’s Music Saloon is proud to announce a pair of fundraiser concerts as their January/February program: Honoring Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here & Animals albums. The pair of legendary albums will be performed in their entirety by a group of esteemed local musicians: Frankie Orona on keyboards, Frank Martinez on guitar, Tom Anderson on drums and Tanner Dossey on bass.

The first performance is set for 8pm on Friday, January 31 at the Alma D’Arte Auditorium in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The second performance is set for 8pm on Saturday, February 1 at the El Paso High School Auditorium in El Paso, TX.

100% of the proceeds go to Hardin’s Music Saloon and their efforts to lease a space in downtown El Paso to serve as both a Borderland Music Hall of Fame and permanent music venue to serve the Borderland region. All donations are tax-deductible. Tickets are $10 and available online at EPHardins.org or at the link above and will be available at the door as well.

“As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Wish You Were Here’s release in 1975, we find it ideal to bring to the public in live music form using some of the amazing talent in this region, and pairing it with Animals - a piece of music not often performed live, even by its creators - makes this a special kickoff to the season,” says Executive Director and Minister of Rock ’n’ Roll Vincent Edward Arrieta. “We look forward to sharing with the public the amazing plans we have for the 2025 season. Both in regards to our efforts to have our own venue and bring concerts to the existing spaces throughout the region. We’re still on pace to bring at least one live event of significance to the region per month from here on out.”

Tickets for these events are available online only.
